October Pin It and Do It Challenge

Trish over at Love, Laughter, and a Touch of Insanity hosts a Pin It and Do It challenge each month. I’ve been getting reacquainted with Pinterest, mainly using it for homeschooling ideas. I’m going to jump in and give her challenge a try this month.
There are 3 different levels:

Timid Pinner: 1-3 Pins
Pinterested: 4-7 Pins
Pin Obsessed: 8+ Pins

I’ve chosen:
Timid Pinner: 1-3 Pins

This challenge is for all types of blogs and pins, which is great because I’m not terribly crafty! I would like to keep mine book/reading related in some way, though. So this month I’m focusing on sight word activities with my 4 year-old. She’s reading Set 1 of the BOB books pretty well now, but I’ve noticed she struggles a bit with sight words. She’s a pretty active kid, so I think something fun she can DO, whether that means coloring or playing games or whatever, will help reinforce these words.

I’ve been pinning ideas to my Homeschool: Reading & Writing board.
