Sunday Salon: May Reading Wrap Up

Goings On:
Besides Armchair BEA, last week was my vacation week and I finished up my church pianist job. Today is my first Sunday back at my own church. I’m not working there, just going and being there with my family, and helping out with music as needed, just as any other member would do. I am on cloud nine, you guys. So happy!

May Reading Wrap Up:
11 books this month!

Recently Finished:
I read 755 pages last week and finished 2 books:
The Year She Left Us by Kathryn Ma
Cutting Teeth by Julia Fierro

Currently Reading:
The Late Starters Orchestra by Ari L. Goldman

What I’m Reading Next:
The Romanov Sisters by Helen Rappaport

I’m also thinking about giving Starship Grifters by Robert Kroese a try. It sounds both right up my alley and way out of my comfort zone. I know, that sounds completely nonsensical. The thing is, I love to watch this kind of sci-fi on television or at the movies. I haven’t actually tried reading it. This book sounds like it has a lot of personality and fun.

I have so many great books waiting for me on my physical and digital shelves that I can’t wait to read, I’ve actually stopped browsing NetGalley and Edelweiss for a while. (Too dangerous!)

What do you have planned this week? Are you reading an amazing book right now?
