Sunday Salon: Harp, By Request

Harp, By Request:
Last week Aloi from Guiltless Reading commented that I should post a harp video. Tuesday afternoon I had a bit of extra time, so I recorded myself playing through a little piece my students really enjoy, Flurry by Jeannie Kern Chenette. It’s kind of nerve-wracking to post this for you guys, but I hope you enjoy it!

I don’t know why I always look so serious when I play, but I promise I’m enjoying myself. 😉

Recently Finished:
Starship Grifters by Robert Kroese
Em and the Big Hoom by Jerry Pinto
The Romanov Sisters by Helen Rappaport

Currently Reading:
The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell

What I’m Reading Next:
Probably World of Trouble by Ben H. Winters, the final book in The Last Policeman trilogy, which showed up in my mailbox yesterday thanks to Quirk Books!

Have you ever seen a harp up close? Played one? Did you know the harp in the video is different than the kind you would see at the symphony (mine has levers instead of pedals)?
