June 2015 Reading Wrap Up

june2015-reading-wrapup

June was pretty packed, so I only ended up reading a book a week. They were all winners!

  • The Beautiful Bureaucrat by Helen Phillips
  • The Boy Who Played with Fusion by Tom Clynes
  • The Last Leaves Falling by Sarah Benwell [my review]
  • The BFG by Roald Dahl [review posts tomorrow]

Surrealism/magical realism, science/parenting/education nonfiction, a debut YA novel, and an audiobook version of a children’s classic. All that variety makes me pretty happy with my June reading!

  • A month of all winners is definitely a good one! The Last Leaves Falling sounds so good.

  • I loooooved The Beautiful Bureaucrat sooooo hard. And YAY! The BFG! And the rest sound amazing!

  • Looks like a great month of reading! I loved The Beautiful Bureaucrat as well.

  • Jennine G.

Oh BFG! One of my absolute favorite childhood books. In 7th grade I made a board game out of it!

  • I just finished The Beautiful Bureaucrat as well – that was a trip! I was o the she of my seat.

  • The BFG – a favorite for sure! Can’t WAIT to get to The Beautiful Bureaucrat after finishing my July release reads!

  • Quality over quantity, right? 🙂

  • I want to read The Beautiful Bureaucrat just because of the cover – ha! It looks really enticing and I’ve heard great things! Sounds like you had a nice reading month, Monika; way to go!

  • It’s great that they were all winners!

  • All good books is a good month to me! Happy July reading!

  • Lindsey Stefan
