It’s Monday, August 10. What Are You Reading?

I feel like I’ve fallen off the planet. Haven’t been doing much of anything lately (not even reading) except feeling terrible thanks to a couple different health issues (no worries, nothing too serious). Hopefully I’m on the mend. I feel like I am, but I’m kind of afraid to believe it!

Books I’ve finished since my last post:

Alice in Wonderland (discussed over at The Socratic Salon)
How I Killed Pluto and Why It Had It Coming by Mike Brown

Currently reading:
Life on the Edge: The Coming Age of Quantum Biology by Johnjoe McFadden and Jim Al-Khalili

So yeah, just checking in with a super quick update to say I’m still around and haven’t abandoned the blog. I have a couple of reviews I’d like to write soon, so stay tuned.

  • How I Killed Pluto and Why it Had it Coming…every time I see that title I crack up laughing. Poor Pluto.

  • Oh, gosh! I’m so sorry to hear you’ve not been well, Monika; hope your back at your best in no time and that you are enjoying lots of good books!

  • “How I Killed Pluto and Why It Had It Coming” is a great title! It’s also a fascinating subject. I’m curious to know what you thought about the book.

I hope you feel better soon! I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t been well.

  • Ahhhh–I went out of town and totally forgot about Alice! So sad–I would have loved to re-read that one. Hope you’re feeling better soon–it’s hard to feel out of sorts, especially for so long. On another note, I came home to a full feedly and noticed that your feed is now partial. Did you change that?

  • How was How I Killed Pluto? Technical or accessible?
